Sean Kouplen–Chairman and CEO – Regent Bank - Tulsa, OK
Mr. Kouplen has served as President of the Company since April 1, 2008 and is one of the principal organizers of Regent Capital Corporation. He is also the Chairman of the Board of Directors, President and Chief Executive Officer of Regent Bank. Mr. Kouplen was formerly with Grand Bank, serving as President and Chief Operating Officer and a member of the Board of Directors. He serves on the Executive Loan Committee, the Strategic Planning-Executive Committee and Nominating and Governance Committee. Mr. Kouplen previously served as Oklahoma’s Secretary of Commerce & Workforce Development and holds many local and statewide leadership positions.
Charles (Chuck) Patterson–Retired President - Patterson Investments, Inc., Owner – Tulsa, OK
Mr. Patterson founded Patterson Realtors in 1977 and sold it to Keller Williams Realty Advantage in 2011. He is a Tulsa business and community leader and is a past Chairman of the Tulsa Regional Chamber as well as past Realtor Association President and Realtor of the Year. He currently serves as a member on the Bank’s Audit/Compliance Committee, ALCO Committee and as Chairman of the Executive Center I Building Committee
Greg Boudreau–EVP and Chief Credit Officer – Regent Bank – Tulsa OK
Mr. Boudreau has been with Regent Bank for over 11 years and prior to that, he was with Spirit Bank where he was Executive Vice President and held the position of Senior Lender and Chief Credit Officer. Boudreau is very active in the Tulsa and Broken Arrow communities. He was elected to the Regent Board of Directors in 2011 and currently Mr. Boudreau chairs the Executive Loan Committee, the Senior Loan Committee, the Agriculture Committee and is a member of the Asset/Liability Management Committee of the Bank.
Gerald B. (Jerry) Smith-Business Owner – Claremore, OK
Mr. Smith retired from the energy sector after 30 years in management positions. He now owns and operates an electrical supply store in Grove OK and runs a cow/calf operation in Miami, OK. Smith has been a Regent Capital Corporation shareholder since 2008 and currently serves as Lead Independent Director and is on the Audit Committee, Compensation Committee, Nominating/Governance Committee, ALCO Committee and is Chairman of the Strategic Planning Executive Committee.
Brian Busey–President/Chief Operating Officer - Delaware Resource Group – Oklahoma City, OK
Mr. Busey is President and Chief Operating Officer of the Delaware Resource Group, where he oversees $120M a year in service contracts, with over 750 employees globally. Busey has extensive dealings with US Air Force and US Navy programs, as well as numerous Fortune 500 Aerospace companies. He is also responsible for the company’s international business and oversees the start-up and management of locations in the Middle East, Southeast Asia and Europe. Busey currently serves on the Bank’s Audit/Compliance Committee, Executive Loan Committee and Compensation Committee.
Dr. John R. Smithson, Jr.–Board-Certified Neurosurgeon – Longview, TX
Dr. Smithson is a retired Neurosurgeon from the St. John Health System in Tulsa, Oklahoma and is presently employed as the Chief Medical Officer of Advanced Monitoring Services (AMS), a Regional Neurodiagnostic Company based in Springdale, Arkansas. A graduate of Westminster College-Fulton, Missouri, United States Navy as Officer and Aviator, and Medical School Graduate of University of Oklahoma, Smithson has devoted his career to medicine. Smithson is also Founder/Creator of primary care groups and physician support services. He has chaired and served on the Board of Directors of Plaza Bank in Bartlesville (sold to Bank of Oklahoma in 1994) where he served on the Executive Loan and Investments Committees and was Founder and Chairman of the Board of First Bartlesville Bank (sold to BancFirst in 2006) where he served on the Executive and Loan Committees. Dr. Smithson currently serves on the Regent Bank Asset and Liability Management Committee and Compensation Committee.
Charles (Chuck) Woolley–Kingsley Group – Springfield, MO
Mr. Woolley is affiliated with the Kingsley Group, a merger and acquisition and business brokerage firm, located in Springfield, Missouri. Woolley has over 30 years of general management experience with Fortune 50 companies, providing operational oversight for manufacturing, distribution and procurement as well as brand development. He has also served as President of turn-around companies for private equity firms and privately held companies. Mr. Woolley joined Regent Bank as a shareholder in March 2008 and was elected as a director February 17, 2011. Woolley currently serves on the Bank’s Strategic Planning-Executive Committee, Executive Loan Committee, Audit/Compliance Committee and Compensation Committee.
Darrel Fry–Retired CEO and Owner, NMW, Inc. – Nowata . Ketchum . Tulsa, OK
Before retirement, Mr. Fry was the CEO/owner of Nowata Filtration Division, an international manufacturer of industrial filtration equipment. He has been a Board member since 2008, and serves as Chairman of the Audit/Compliance Committee and is a member of the Executive Loan Committee, Strategic Planning-Executive Committee and Nominating and Governance Committee.
Jerry L. Winchester–Owner/Operator of 63 Ranch – Nichols Hills, OK
Mr. Winchester was Chief Executive Officer of Seventy-Seven Energy from its spinoff from Chesapeake Oilfield Services in July 2014 until its sale to Patterson UTI in June of 2017. Prior to joining Chesapeake in September of 2011, he was the President and CEO of Boots & Coots International Well Control, Inc. which was acquired by Haliburton in September 2010. From November 1998 to September 2010, Mr. Winchester spent 14 years with Halliburton where he served in a variety of management and operational roles. He became a shareholder in 2007 and was elected to the Regent Board in 2018 and now serves on the Executive/Strategic Planning Committee and Compensation Committee. In January 2019, Mr. Winchester was appointed as Executive Director of Tourism and Recreation for the State of Oklahoma by Governor Kevin Stitt.
TIna Patel-Owner/Chief Financial Officer of Promise Hotels- Tulsa, OK
Ms. Patel is owner and Chief Financial Officer of Promise Hotels, LLC with 25 years of successful experience in the hospitality industry. She is a graduate of the University of Missouri at Kansas City and has completed professional certified courses. From 2015 to 2021 she served as Board of Director of the Federal Reserve Bank of Kansas City-Oklahoma City Branch and chaired the board in the 2020 – 2021 term. Ms. Patel is a member of many civic and philanthropic boards. She was elected to the Regent Bank Board of Directors October 22, 2022 and serves on the Executive Loan Committee and ALCO Committee.
